Marcos ROJO has suffered a season ending injury.

The Manchester United defender will miss the rest of the season for his club after suffering a ruptured cruciate ligament in his left knee. ROJO had to be stretchered off in Manchester United’s 2-1 win in the Europa League against Anderlecht. Early reports have ROJO out injured until September.

Should ROJO be out until September, it would mean he would miss several matches for Argentina. In June, the team will play two matches against Brazil and Singapore ahead of their two World Cup Qualifying matches in August and September, the first coming against Uruguay and the second against Venezuela.
