Ezequiel MUNOZ to join Spanish club Leganes

Ezequiel MUNOZ is set to join Spanish club CD Leganés.

Genoa defender and former Boca Juniors man Ezequiel MUÑOZ will be travelling to Madrid on Monday to sign with the club. According to reports, the 6 foot 1 defender will be joining the Spanish club for a fee believed to be in the region of €2.5 million. Per Calcio Mercato, the 26 year old will join on a four year contract.

Ezequiel MUNOZ’s past

The defender has spent the last eight seasons playing in Serie A with three different teams. He first started playing in Italy after completing a move from Boca Juniors to Palermo back in 2010 where he ended up playing over 100 matches for the club. He later joined Sampdoria on loan in 2015 where he made a handful of appearances which was followed by a move to Genoa shortly after that year where he has remained.
