The Argentina coach and two players spoke about the 1-1 draw after the match.

Fernando BATISTA, the coach of the Argentina U20 team, spoke following his team’s 1-1 draw against Paraguay. Here’s what he had to say:

“I believe in the last 20 minutes, we had very clear chances and Paraguay’s goalkeeper did well. In general, I think the kids had a very good match.

“I always wish that things get better. This was the first official match for the team. The anxiousness and nervousness is normal. I leave calm because I have good players.”

Goal scorer Maxi ROMERO also had his say on the match:

“We are happy with what we did. A lot of the things from training came out. There’s a lot of camaraderie within the group. We are happy with the performance. We have to get a good result against Ecuador.”

Manuel INSAURRALDE had this to say:

“It’s the first match and at times, the anxiety gets the better of you. We were superior but we didn’t get the result we were looking for.”

  2. San Lorenzo is my second fav team in Superliga so I watch every game but not the yesterday because of U-20 match. Gabriel Rojas is one of most talented leftbacks in Superliga. We hava also another talented LB from San Lorenzo, Elias Pereyra, who is on Sudamericano.

  3. Might be off-topic, but anyone watch the San Lorenzo vs Huracan game yesterday?
Who can tell me about Gabriel Rojas, the LB of San Lorenzo?

Is he good, should he be considered?

    • There is also claudio bravo of banfield, I have never watched him but football writers like peter coates and tom robinson praises him alot. But I would say it is still early to assess him, lets wait till the end of this season to evaluate.
We can also see potential in Pereyra, cufre, kevin allister
