Argentina defender Walter KANNEMANN scored in Gremio’s 5-4 loss to Fluminense.

In a match which saw nine goals scored, Gremio were up 3-2 at half time. Fluminense took the lead 4-3 and a towering header by KANNEMANN drew Gremio level. However, Yony GONZALEZ gave Fluminense the win at the death.

KANNEMANN has been a constant in Argentina coach Lionel SCALONI’s team since he took over last year and will very likely be included in the Copa America squad.

He has been playing in the Premier League for eight years now and in that time he is the guy who is always consistent. Sometimes he is injured but when he’s on the pitch, he’s scoring a lot of goals. So, for me, he is the best.”
