Looking for a family spot? Select a quiet hotel close to the beach (there are several that meet these guidelines). Because of the "party-capital" atmosphere in Patong; with its thriving nightlife; numerous "entertainment complexes"; countless bars; and prostitutes to cater to every taste, you will probably want the family to stay away from Bangla Road.
