After all from the many months of planning, the big day finally arrived. Filled with excitement and joy, it came and went. What I had no idea about is that though I had been bride, I had still missed areas of my wedding. I was working on a tight budget and decided to not hire someone to shoot my wedding. A pal agreed to take my bridal portraits and photograph every one of the big moments – the receiving line, the marriage party photos, the first dance, us cutting and eating our cake, etc. All of it have also been perfect. It was not until I received the photos that we realized that the friend didn’t take very good photos. She didn’t realize how to operate your camera anymore rather than just point and click on. She didn’t understand shutter speed or F stop. My photos and the opportunity to capture that memory for years were ruined.

So, how do you actually go with a photographer to shoot your wedding reception? In the event you hire an attorney? In case you ask your friend/family member who won’t change you to shoot the wedding?

Professional photographers know their equipment like a chef knows his/her kitchen. Their camera becomes the strategies which they create what you see for many years. Wedding photographers in particular specialize and still have experience of understanding what to consider on your special occasion. The same as price, please choose your photographer based from quality, personality, experience, and reliability. Quality of shot is big! Again you should only get one switch to photograph that moment. For this reason we always have 2 photographers. If you do not understand the photographer, would you like to look or act the best you can as you’re watching lens? Also, go through the photographer’s style. Does their portfolio tell a narrative? It’s traditional with lots of formal poses? Would it be more whimsical? Will the photographer allow creativity and check out a new challenge? You want the top photos possible — a photographer which has a style which you love as well as a personality that makes you’re feeling comfortable in front of their camera will certainly deliver the best end product!
