The 2024-2025 Premier League season begins on Friday and we are previewing the Argentine players.
There are 12 Premier League teams with at least one Argentine player and 16 total Argentine players in the Premier League. Of those 16 players, eight of them won the 2024 Copa America with the Argentina national team.
Aston Villa are the club with the most Argentine players with three. Martínez and Buendía have played for the Argentina national team while Barrenechea has yet to be called up.
Bournemouth have Marcos Senesi and the 27 year old will look to have another solid season to be included in the Argentina national team for the World Cup qualifiers.
Valentín Barco will begin his first full season with Brighton. The 20 year old left back is the only Argentine at the club.
Enzo Fernández will start the season with a new manager. With Mauricio Pochettino set to coach the United States, it will be interesting to see in what position the 23 year old will occupy on the pitch.
Facundo Buonanotte joined Leicester City on loan from Brighton. The Argentine will look to return to the national team after havign missed out on the Copa America win.
Alexis Mac Allister was one of Liverpool’s best players last season. Scoring one of the goals of the Premier League season, he and Liverpool challenged for the Premier League title and he will look to win his first league title in Europe.
Máximo Perrone is the only Argentine at Manchester City following the exit of Julián Álvarez. Perrone spent last season on loan at Las Palmas in Spain.
Lisandro Martínez and Alejandro Garnacho are both fully settled in Manchester. Lisandro is an undoubted starter at the club while Garnacho not only scored their first goal of the season but has become a regular at United.
Nicolás Domínguez and Nottingham Forest just escaped relegation last season. The 26 year old has been out of the Argentina national team for some time and remaining in the Premier League could in and of itself be an accomplish for the club.
Carlos Alcaraz spent last season on loan at Juventus but returns to Southampton. They won promotion from the EFL Championship back into the Premier League.
Cristian Romero and Gio Lo Celso are the two Argentine players who will be representing Tottenham Hotspur. But for Gio Lo Celso, he could be leaving on loan at Real Betis.

Cant understand how Armani starts over Ledesma. Armani surely has some massive clout in the Argentine football ecosystem. The only hope is to wait for him to retire & i wont be surprised if Armani turns out to be a big shot AFA boss in near future
Inter Milan interested to sign 21 year old big 195 cm Argentine defender Tomas Palacios of Independiente Rivadavia…
Sounds intresting
What about Anselmino ? has someone signed him from Rurope allready ?
He was signed by chesea and then loan to boca….
Yes i read from somewhere about Chelsea signing, but was not wear of his loan back to Boca, which i quess it is better for him, than not playing basicly at all…
Do you know, when his loan spell will finish or how soon Chelsea want him to join them..?
