Bridget Arnwine: When we jazz writers talk about jazz and what jazz means, I think numerous of us speak about it from a limited viewpoint. As a writer and as someone who enjoys the songs and is curious about the background, I read books and listen to the music in order to connect with jazz. That said, I do so knowing that I will never know jazz as intimately as someone who’s accomplished as a lot and been about as lengthy as you have. If you like museums and art, the Nationwide Museum and Gallery of Cardiff has an incredible collection of Impressionist paintings.
