Official: Guido PIZARRO joins SEVILLA

25

It is now official that Guido PIZARRO will join Sevilla.  The 27 year old midfielder will join fellow Argentine coach Eduardo BERIZZO in Spain.  He was playing for Tigres in Mexico and his new contract with Sevilla is set to run until the summer of 2021. He has won several trophies with Tigres in his 4 years with that team (joining them from Lanus).  He won his first cap a few months ago for Argentina’s national team playing vs. Bolivia.  Just as a reminder, Sevilla have also brought in fellow Argentina national team midfielder Ever BANEGA from Inter Milan this summer.  Let’s hope this helps our national team.

I think personally this is a good signing for PIZARRO.  The Spanish League is known for being one of the most competitive leagues in the world.  He will be be playing with Ever BANEGA who is supposedly one of SAMPAOLI’S favorite players.  I’m looking forward to seeing this new Sevilla team in action. What do you all think?

VAMOS ARGENTINA!

        • Yeah, other player was cold too i felt. Feel for them. Two immense talent of our football will be ruined by that move. I love Paredes deep playmaking and i thought he would play a big role on WC but don’t see much improvement after this.

    • Although I consider it a bad move. I don’t believe it will stop their development as players. Paredes was warming the bench in big matches at Roma but now he will be starting the whole season and in the champions league. Considering his talent, I don’t think this will end his chances of being called up by Sampa.

  1. Here is a lot about frustration of Sampaoli over postponed match against Bolivia, coordination of youth teams and list of players called up to the team:

  2. Won’t Kranevitter continue in Sevilla next season? If he continues, only one of them will play and mostly it will be Pizarro.

  3. The Argentina press are reporting that teenage star Juan Foyth’s £10m move to Tottenham is a done deal. (@Sport_Witness on Twitter)
