Arsenal, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid keeping tabs on Argentina Nicolas TAGLIAFICO

Nicolas TAGLIAFICO is reportedly being looked at by three big European clubs.

Per a report by ESPN, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are looking at signing the left back from Ajax. Santiago SOLARI’s team are no strangers to TAGLIAFICO as they had played against Ajax in the Champions League in a match where the Argentina performed very well. Not only that, their current left back MARCELO is rumored to be leaving the club.

Atletico Madrid will be looking for possible reinforcement as their starting left back Filipe LUIS is out of a contract at the start of the summer. Diego SIMEONE would be looking for someone to take over that spot for his team.

TAGLIAFICO scored in De Klassieker for Ajax.

  1. Which is more possible?
    – Marcelo (The best LB in the World) replaced by Tagliafico? Even tho they already have Regullon playing for Real?
    – Felipe Luis, a soldier for Atletico for years, being replaced by Tagliafico? Even tho they have Hernandez, tho he’ll most likely end up in Munich.
    – Nacho Monreal being replaced by Tagliafico? That is a more like for like replacement.

    So which is more believable?

  2. Simeone’s record with Argentine players hasn’t exactly been stellar (Ansaldi, Gaitan, Vietto and kranevitter) so I’m always iffy when any Argentine is linked with Atletico but Nico is a tough, no-nonsense type of player in the vein of A.Correa and Augusto Fernandez and that seems that suits Simeone’s style, not to mention that I’d rather Tagliafico to go to Mars than end up in Real madrid.

  3. Please go to Athletico. He is very good in offense, but he needs to work on his concentration and awareness where Diego Simone can help.
