Adolfo Gaich scored his first goal for Verona in their 2-1 win vs. Sassuolo.

Gaich was brought on as a substitute and scored his first goal of the season for Verona and late in injury time. With the score at 1-1, it was a mistake by the Sassuolo goalkeeper as he passed it to Gaich and the Argentine would score an open goal from near the center of the pitch.

The 24 year old has played in Verona’s last nine matches, being a starter in most of them.

  1. Argentina reserve U17 drawn with Paraguay U17. Though we played our bench players we could have easily scored more goals as there were some clear missed opportunities. Also the Paraguay goal was a clear mistake by our 2nd choice keeper.

    • Kicked ass and took names! Gio (when fit) is pure class! If (and that’s a BIG. IF.) he stays fit then I totally see him leading the 2026 team (assuming Lio won’t play) when he’ll be 30yrs old.

Btw el_principe did you see Alcaraz play CF today? Honestly how many positions has he played thus far for Southamton? The kid needs stability and instead he’s playing positional musical chairs in a relegation threatened club.

      • Alcaraz with Southampton is definitely going down. I hope he play good in remaining 8 matches so lower team can get him on loan for next season.. he is just 20. So it will be good if he play another season in PL. Not in championship.

      • Southampton thinks that he is more offensive minded than he is. He should be MC but Southampton have 2 good players there already Leiva and Ward Prowse. I don’t think Carlos Alcaraz can play CF. He can be a 10/attacking midfielder in 4-2-3-1 but not CF.

Southampton sadly will be relegated this year tho.
