Paulo DYBALA continues to show why he should start for Argentina, Lionel MESSI scores 3 minutes back from injury, Manuel LANZINI scored his second goal of the season for West Ham while Sergio AGUERO missed yet another penalty.
Paulo DYBALA scored a fantastic free kick and added a second from the penalty spot to give Juventus a 2-1 win against Udinese.
Lionel MESSI didn’t wait long before registering his first goal back from injury. Three minutes into his return, MESSI scored past former Argentine international goalkeeper German LUX (goalkeeper at the 2005 Confederations Cup) in Barcelona’s 4-1 win against Deportivo.
Manuel LANZINI secured the victory for the Hammers in West Ham’s 1-0 win away to Crystal Palace. LANZINI was at the end of a great move to side foot it into the back of the net.
The terrible week for Sergio AGUERO continues. After having missed a penalty kick for Argentina (not that I have to remind anyone here) against Paraguay earlier in the week, AGUERO missed his second of the week in Manchester City’s 1-1 draw at home to Everton.

…Awesome website
[…]you made running a blog glance[…]
[…] addition to those scored on Saturday, there were a few more goalscorers in Europe this […]
Roma slowly and with out being noticed is offering some mature players for the NT. Paredes is eventually getting the chance that he desrves like in yesterday’s crucial away game. And Perotti has already cemented his place so does Fazio. Both are under Bauza 60 list and IMO all deserves a chance since they have under represented so far their nation despite their age and maturity. Paredes for Krane or Biglia, and why not Fazhio for Demi or Roncaglia and Perotti for any of the 7 forwards in front except messi and Dybala.
I like Perotti and Paredes. I also like Fazio but we have better centre-backs in the pecking order right now: Otamendi, Garay, Funes Mori and Musacchio.
I still believe players doing well for thier club shall be considered seriously. And close monitoring of Mori is needed as usual. Plus, none of the current CB are as good as Fazio for set piece defence.
Set piece defence is only one small aspect of defence overall. We have Garay (188 cm) who is tall and good at that and Otamendi who is not that tall but really good in the air.
Am not missing your point only seeking flexblity and to consider on fire players playing for clubs as good as Roma. This is worth to be noted more when you have unstable and club bench warmers in the starting IX-like Mori etal.
If Funes Mori or any other defender for that matter, spends more time on the bench than playing, a case can be made for Fazio call-up, although I suspect he’s not everyone’s cup of tea here.
Garay has recovered from injury and is starting for Valencia today (as a RCB), so is Enzo Perez (as a DMF). Both of these players can still contribute a lot to the team when fit and should be seriously considered by Bauza. Both are 30 which is not too old yet.
Great news, I thought his injury was far worse.
Absolutely, Garay is a MUST and not just some one who should only be watched IMO. Enzo perez is a fantastic player that has proven himself for Argentina at the highest level and the most important of times (WC14) and I think a midfield of perez-masch-vasquez could really work.

Good player but a sh!t personality.
And that’s exactly what’s holding him back…not the first nor will he be the last.
Remember Roman? I’ll never play for Argentina as long as Maradona runs the team!
We desperately needed him in 2010 but both his stupidity and that of Diego probably cost ARG a spot in the final or worse…but GOD FORBID if any manager or player makes it easier on THIS country to win anything.
shite shite and shite as just as the pressure was on bauza to call icardi this happens and its all the excuse he needs to completely over look him again.
Icardi turn out to be the enemy of himself. May be it is too blurd for him to make a cut b/n confidence and arrogance. Tbh,wasn’t happy either when he publicly admitted that an Ipod vending as an oportunity to bang his best’s wife. i understand that is his life but keep unveiling it to the public like having he was in love with her way before she separated from his best is only a sign of less cavet on his part.
And now Zanetti is threatning him to supress his ego and set aside it for a club is the end not a player. May be as a piece of advise his decission shall not be clouded by jis agent’s judgment at all.
You are correct Pablo. I don’t get it. Who writes an autobiography at 23? He has two thirds (or more) of his life ahead of him. This is just plain crazy. Now the fanatic supporters hate him his Inter career will soon be over. First the whole thing with his wife and now this dumb move. He is his own worst enemy.
If Inter kick him out or freeze, many club will come to buy him and he will join in a Big club.
One day he will regret for everything.Hope the day will be soon.

Estudiantes – Rosario Central not bad game
Ascacibar vs Lo Celso and others: Montoya (with beautifull goal; he is on Bauza list), M.Martinez, L. ROdriguez, Ruben, Solari, Salazar.
Not the best game by Lo Celso discipline wise
poor Kun, it’s just not his week. While I don’t want to see him start because fitness wise he cannot be relied on however I honestly can’t blame aguero for his abysmal performance for Argentina (well not entirely atleast) because Bauza’s tactical incompetence rivaled that of maradona, much to my shock!
Lanzini seems to be getting back to form after his olympic injury and the kid’s the real deal (already proved it last season). I still see him more of a forward/AM than a box to box but honestly he’s so talented and tenacious that he could do anything.
I know some of you here think that Argentina is falling short on talent in the midfield but honest to god, the amount of talented Argnetine midfielders is borderline the insane:
– Lanzini, won’t talk about him cos we know by now what he can do.
– Vasquez, great passer, hard worker, high footballing IQ. Basically a
total footballer.
– Oscar Trejo, now many of you won’t recognize this name, he plays for
toulouse in league 1 and this guy is by far the most underrated
argentine midfielder out there. Amazing passer, amazing defender
and….well just amazing.
– pereyra, fantastic passer, big, strong and dynamic. Still needs to
improve his defensive skills though.
– Perotti, we all know what he can do.
– Enzo perez, we all know what he can do.
– Claudio Yacob, a very good replacement for Mascherano especially
since Kranevitter is rotting on the bench and Ascacibar still needs a
tad bit more experience.
– paredes, we all know what he can do.
– Banega, he still has the goods, but his inconsistency means he’s not a
starter, never the less I would like to have him on the bench.
– All of these and I haven’t even mentioned the talent from the primera
like Fernandez and Acuna.
My team:
Romero
Mercado Otamendi Garay Tagliafico
perez Mascherano Vasquez/Trejo
Messi Icardi Dybala
Subs:
Rulli for romero
peruzzi for mercado
Mori or Musacchio for Garay or Otamendi
pizarro for Perez
Yacob or kranevitter for Masch
Banega and/or paredes (introduce if more ball playing is required)
Lanzini for messi
perotti for Dybala
Alario for Icardi
The talent is there and Argentina can get back on track but Bauza needs to get his head out of his a** and start coaching the way he once knew how.
Yup, Trejo is one of our No.10 in Europe. And he scored goal in Friday. After nice sombrero. No one mentioned.
As for Acuna. I don’t know if know Bauza watched him yesterday finally. I never mentioned the guy here. Want him in NT but only if in Di Maria place. To be honest I don’t know why Acuna. FOr me there’s a lot more interesting LM in Europe and Primera as well. Pity Martinez for example or Lucas Zelarayan. Anyway Acuna is not our best LM believe me. For me even Lavezzi over Acuna.
Lanzini had few impressive driblings and still would give more if not his selfish teammates. Long range shoot and runs – we need someone who may offer the things.
Maybe we should stick 433 again. My line up:
…………..Rulli
…….Otamendi Garay
Gomez……………Tagliafico
…..Nacho.Masche.Lanzini
…..Messi..Icardi..Dybala
(“Nacho” Fernandez of River)
bench:
Romero
Batalla
Peruzzi/Buffarini
Musacchio
Funes Mori/Barboza
Rojo
Ascacibar
Pizarro/Pereyra/Augusto
Vazquez/Pastore/Lo Celso
Gaitan/Gonzalo Martinez/Salvio/Cervi
Correa/Pratto
Alario
Now I may to encapsulate with statement of @dollon style: this team will beat Brazil/Germany team with easy;)Haha
Yap no strategy no anything. He is clueless and knows little about who is doing good or bad at club level.
Hi Travis/Pablo,
Correct, now it does not matter whom he picks or not..Bauza does not have a strategy to enforce..a Lanzini or a Icardi or anyone is bound to fail for National Team..
I am only rooting for Rulli whose role is clear..he needs to protect the ball..
bauza: turn on your tv or even YouTube highlights as we know you do not seem to even acknowledge this player exists and we here at humble mundo are doing our best to help you in these tough times and this is exactly the type of player we need in the n/t-ungently.
Manuel Lanzini’s first half by numbers vs Crystal Palace:
87% pass acc.
2 shots
2 chances created
2 tackles won
2 blocks
1 goal
Box-to-box
no need to thank us just name him in the next squad.
n.b just some more free advice from us here at mundo stop playing players out of position.
it don’t matter much now which young player going to be in the team next.
we’ve seen what bauza wanted to do with his team, and it’s terrible.
he goes more defensive than sabella ever was, and use alot of both rl flank, in which argentina’ve been terrible at since di maria occupied those position since sabella era.
he won’t be using btb mid in his system, since he don’t call up one player for that.
He had few impressive driblings and still would be give more if not his selfish teammates. Long range shoot and runs – we need someone who may offer this.

looks like national team form affected his confidence!!! Higuain aguero icardi and dybala should all fight for one spot …
This is 4th penalty missed by the idiot Selfiero this season so far and more to come. Stupid coaches who trust him excuting them.
