Ángel Di María: “Every time I come here, it’s a great joy”

Ángel Di María trained with the Argentina national team on Wednesday and spoke to the media afterwards.

Di María is the Argentina hero, the player for the big games and the finals. A goal scorer in the Copa America, Finalissima and World Cup finals, there is nothing that he hasn’t done in world football. And now the World Cup winner is in Argentina for the team’s match against Panama on Thursday. Speaking to the media after the training, here is what he had to say:

“I am very happy. The joy of being world champion is something that we enjoy every day and to see how the people are is something very special.

“It’s crazy what people are doing, what happened with Leo the other day at the restaurant… The people are very happy and we have to enjoy it. Let’s hope that tomorrow will be a beautiful day, that people come in calmly and that it’s a nice celebration, that nothing serious will happen.

“Every time I come here, it’s a great joy. Every moment fills your heart, it is the most beautiful place you can be in.

“The first thing is to win tomorrow and to continue on the same path. One stage is over and now we have the World Cup qualifiers and after that the Copa America, which is what we are aiming at.”

    • Don’t be selfish, boy. A few other members were also defending him day and night, and that was even before you become a member. Let’s give credit where credit is due.
TBT, I used to hate him a lot, but after the Copa success, he has been a favorite player for me.

  1. Yeah the same intensity from where they all started. And as scaloni said from here on it is more difficult as we have the advantage of being the world champion. Before becoming champions we were a little bit underdogs when facing teams such as Brazil or france. But now it is not. And it’s a task.

  2. No more hatred for ADM!
And the whole team is more enjoying and joyful playing for N/T than in the club. Payment arrived from the club and recognition comes from the national team trophy. Vamos Albiceleste
