Thiago Almada and Luciano Gondou scored for the Argentina U23 team in their 2-0 win vs. Peru.
The Argentina U23 team are first in their group with four points. Javier Mascherano’s team were awarded a penalty kick and it was Thiago Almada who would score to give the Argentina U23 team the win 1-0 lead.
Luciano Gondou was substituted in for Santiago Castro and he would score his second goal of the pre-Olympics. Argentina will play Chile on Tuesday.
