Alan Varela scored for Porto in their 3-1 win vs. Farense on matchday 19 of the Portuguese League.

With the first half coming to an end, the Argentine midfielder received the ball just outside the box and shot with his right foot to score the 2-0 for his team. The 22-year-old had scored one goal and had provided two assists a week ago in Porto’s last game vs. Moreirense.

Some reports coming from the Argentine media state that Varela has some chances to be called up by Lionel Scaloni for Argentina’s friendly matches in March.

According to Fichajes, Alan Varela could open up a transfer battle between English giants Liverpool and Manchester City next summer. His price is 70 millions after Porto signed him from Boca for 8+3 LOL, daylight robbery.
