The Argentina national team will play two friendly matches in June before the 2024 Copa America, both of them in the United States. Argentina will play against Ecuador on June 9 at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois.
Lionel Scaloni’s team will play Guatemala on June 14 at Commanders Field in Washington, DC. This would be the final match before the 2024 Copa America in the United States.
I am not sure if Ecuador is a good choice before an important tournament. The team is tough but rough as well. The choice of opponents post World Cup victory has not been prudent and it would impact our performance even when we would face a very competitive Canada.
