Luka Romero has hinted at the possibility of playing for Argentina, Mexico or Spain.

Romero holds three nationalities. Born in Mexico to Argentine parents but raised in Spain, the 19 year old has represented Argentina at youth level but could still play for any of the three national teams. Speaking in an interview with ESPN, here is what Romero had to say:

“I don’t close my doors to anyone. It’s a privilege to have three nationalities because the three are very good national teams. I’m a kid, I have a lot of possibilities to pick. I don’t know what can happen in the future, I will always be grateful to all three.”

  1. Based on his current form and perfomances, he will be doing us a favor by choosing Mexico and it would be actually a smart move for him as he is nowhere near the level to break into Spain’s nation team. Our brightest young talent with potential to become a world class player is Nico Paz who could take over the soon to be vacated , most dangerous attacking midfielder tag currenly held by Kevin Debrunne. In few months Real Madrid and their fans will be kicking themselves for letting Nico Paz an intelligent versatile foward/attcking mid slip away for an overhyped 18 year old newly married , Endrick!
