The Argentine striker came off the bench in the 73rd minute with his team already leading by three goals. Just two minutes later, he made an immediate impact. “The Spider” found himself with the ball inside the opponent’s box after a rebound from the goalkeeper and finished with a first-time strike into the back of the net.
Fellow Argentines Juan Musso and Ángel Correa were part of Diego Simeone’s starting lineup, while Nahuel Molina and Rodrigo De Paul came on as substitutes in the second half.
