Lautaro Martínez was substituted out for Inter against FC Barcelona and is a doubt for their second leg match.
Martínez started for Inter in their 3-3 draw against FC Barcelona in their semi-final Champions League first leg. He was substituted out at half-time with a problem in his left thigh and Inter coach Filippo Inzaghi had this to say about Lautaro’s injury:
“He felt a twinge, but had been playing eight games in a row. Unfortunately, we had these little issues, as I didn’t have Thuram, Taremi was also coming off an injury and I wasn’t able to rotate. When you start eight matches in a row, there is the risk of injury, I hope it’s nothing too serious, but I do have a few doubts.”
Yamal’s impressive performance at 17 would only trigger my instnict of criticizing many of the previous stubborn Argentian coaches particullarly Pekerman, for not fully using young talents like Leo early on (2006 WC). I believe Argentina could have won more trophies if Messi had been given a bigger role sooner. Hope Scaloni as one of the few sensible coaches will keep trusting young players as he did it with Enzo,Alvarez,Cuti and Macca since his reign.
I think that had Messi entered the Germany game in 2006, they would have won that game. Germany was looking tired; Messi would have worn them out with some good runs.
The 1-on-1 Tevez missed in that game, Messi would have certainly scored that one!
Mascherano is horrible coach, hopeless. Average games from Messi nowadays, very unlucky too, but his overall game and abilities is still very useful for ARG NT. Cheat code.
One of the worst coach. He’s totally destroyed the team. No tactics, no rotation of player, no defense, no attack. Team is weakened from last year.
