Facundo Buonanotte scores for Leicester City in 2-2 draw vs. Nottingham Forest

Facundo Buonanotte scored for Leicester City in their 2-2 away draw against Nottingham Forest on Matchday 36 of the Premier League.

The Argentine came on in the 61st minute and, 20 minutes later, with his team trailing 2-1, received a pass from Jamie Vardy. He drove into the box, faked a shot with his left foot, then finished with his right into the back of the net to equalize for his team.

After a strong second half of 2025 in which Buonanotte earned several starts, the 20-year-old Argentine has seen limited playing time in 2026—a season that will end with Leicester’s relegation to the second division.

  1. I wish Julio Soler and Valentin Barco get regular playing time next season. We need them badly. At least one should emerge to the top class. Julio Soler will be perfect fit to Scaloni’s system.

  2. Now brazil and their fans again comes alive after ancelotti became head coach. But i think its not about just the experience or tactical things which is success for Argentina. Its the mental bond and unity which gives each other that comes out as that extraordinary chemistry in Argentina. And all credit would be given to scaloni for it. Hope Argentina continue winning and dominate world football for this decade atleast. Vamos Argentina

  3. Really talented kid and was in the process of showing it when he got saddled with possibly THE worst coach in premier league history in Ruud van Nistelrooy. Hope Brighton was watching his earlier season exploits and call him back in.
