  1. Over the past few years clubs from Brazil did better internationally than clubs from Argentina.
Hopefully Scaloni and his team will look at Argentine players doing well in Brazil.
Barboza should be called next time to give him a chance. He looks a better option than Foyth.
Bernabei has proven himself. Maybe he should be chosen before Barco who failed to secure a spot in England and Spain.
Giay is an option too. Montiel is a fighter but not such a good player.
As Lomonaco’s strength is going forward, the back line in 2026 good look like this: Bernabei Romero Barboza Lomonaco.
Let’s keep Otamendi and Balerdi as backups for the CB position and Tagliafico and Maffeo for the LB and RB position.

  2. Watching Prestianni play the guy can’t make a single pass and he is a midget. Can we produce a freaking player over 5’8”? These guys look microscopic.

    • That’s a strange rant hahaha….Garnacho 5’9., Nico Paz, Valentin Carboni both around 6’1 🙂 Mateo Pellegrino 6’4, Lomonaco and Trolio also 6’4.

  3. Argentina club teams need a reality check. Boca and River both played like trash. The league honestly looks like trash. We sell players way too young and they die on the bench due to lack of minutes or we don’t play them at all waiting to sell them. Sad state. I mean Jesus it’s embarassing how bad they performed. The product is worse than MLS.

  4. Anyone paying attention to Giay at Palmeiras this club wc? He’s a regular, sometimes a RB, sometimes a RCB in a back 3 or 5. Is he a viable option?

    • No he is not as good as we think…
      J. Correa still have some magic
      Little underrated
      Alexander Barboza the iron wall
      But
      Alavaro Montoro
      Something Boss
      Very much talented
Just need to be strong in physically

      • What the hell are you talking about? Giay is good defensively. That player is workaholic. You trash him then go on to overhype Tucu correa, on of the worst inter Milan flop? That’s a bad joke

    • I watched the last 50mins. Good he played entire 120mins. While his sofascore rating looked relatively low, I felt he comes out as an energetic fearless defender. Didn’t see much of him attacking..but that is more of a team tactic as there were 2 players in his wing who played very advanced. He definitely should atleast be given a good chance in NT remaining games to evaluate closer.

  5. If Chelsea beats Benfica today they have a solid chance of advancing to the semi finals. Also Enzo will be playing against his old club.
