Argentina U17 win 3-0 vs. ADH Brazil to close group stage with perfect record in L’Alcúdia

Argentina’s U17 national team continued their strong run at the 2025 COTIF L’Alcúdia Tournament with a convincing 3-0 win over ADH Brazil, a regional team from Hidrolândia, closing the group stage with three wins in three matches.

Head coach Diego Placente’s side, made up of players under 17 despite competing in a U20 tournament, has delivered consistent performances throughout the first round. After opening with a 2-0 win over Chile and defeating Valencia 2-1, Argentina finished the group stage with another commanding display, combining solid team organization with attacking efficiency.

The first goal came in the opening half through team captain Matías Satas, who rose highest to head in a well-placed corner kick delivered by Facundo Jainikoski. That early lead allowed Argentina to control the tempo of the match, limiting ADH Brazil’s chances and keeping possession comfortably.

Minutes later, Thomas De Martis extended the lead with a composed finish. The forward controlled the ball with his chest inside the box and calmly struck a cross-body shot before the goalkeeper could close him down, making it 2-0 before halftime.

Argentina remained dominant in the second half, although they missed several opportunities to increase the margin. The third goal arrived late in the match thanks to a standout moment from Tomás Parmo. The Independiente midfielder dribbled past multiple defenders and placed a left-footed shot into the corner to seal the 3-0 win.

Argentina finished first in Group B and will face Alboraya, the runner-up of Group A, in the semifinals on Monday, July 28.
