  1. I feel a bit worried about Lautaro, I miss Simone Inzaghi as a coach for Inter.. Hopefully he starts and score again in Champions league. I am happy that Alvarez is in really good form now. I am from Finland sopporting Argentina for many years (since 1990)..But I have moved to Sweden in 1998.

  2. Julian Alavrez is singlehandedly keeping Simeone’s career alive! He is our no1 striker and if any Argentine can win the BallonDor it him. Molina needs to pack his bags and move to Italy, Simeone is destroying his career. He is way better than he looks at Atletico! Our post Messi front 4 will be Julian and Lautaro as forwards, Almada on left ans Mastantuono on right. With a midfield of MacAllister, Enzo & Equi!

    • i dont understand the obsession with Mastantuono. He has been overhyped by fans and media. Giving him the no. 10 shirt is an insult to Messi and Maradona. What has he actually done to justify a place in the NT. His only contribution against Atletico Madrid, was to hit the balls towrds the fans in frustration, for which he received a yellow card. All his freekicks were wayward and missed the goal by a mile

      Some factual numbers:
      Claudio Echeverri:
Goals scored in U-20 South American Championship (2025) – 6
      Assists in U-20 South American Championship (2025) – 3
Assists scored in Paris Olympics – 1
Goals in FIFA Club World Cup – 1

      Mastantuono
Goals scored in U-20 South American Championship (2025) – ZERO
      Assists in U-20 South American Championship (2025) – 2
Assists scored in Paris Olympics – Not selected
Goals in FIFA Club World Cup – 0

      • For an 18 year old to gain confidence of his manager, senior teammates and fans and even the pundits and blend so well into the team without preseason and no European experience, he is without doubt the youngster with the highest ceiling! Give hime couple more matches and watch him as his confidence grows even further.

      • At youth level Echeverri had a great run. I still beleive Echeverri can turn into a world class player. So as Mastantuano.

Echeverri has 10 goals in 15 ‘under 17’ games and 6 goals in 10 ‘under 20’ games.

        But…
Just one goal in 10 ‘under 23’ appearance.
Just 5 goals in 44 appearnce for ‘Riverplate’.
Yet to score against an ‘European team’.
No Argentina NT minutes till now.

Remember Echeverri is 1 year and 7 months elder and comparing to younger Mastantuono will not give you a clear idea.

Meanwhile Franco played under 17 and under 20 in much younger age, as substitute, and yet to play under 23 games. But already played 3 Argentina NT matches.. and scored already European top 5 league..!
