Argentina U20 national team goalkeeper Santino Barbi spoke about the team’s win against Colombia at the U20 World Cup.
The Argentina U20 national team won 1-0 against Colombia in the semi-finals of the U20 World Cup and will play Morocco in the World Cup final. Santino Barbi made four saves for the Argentina national team in the win. Speaking on the official AFA website, here is what Barbi had to say:
“I’m happy to have helped the team and to be able to continue in the World Cup.
“They started with very intense pressure that prevented us from playing our game, but in the second half we were able to control the ball.
“As the minutes passed, the team found its rhythm.
“Now we’re going to celebrate, and tomorrow we’ll start thinking about Sunday’s final.”
After the group howler , Barbi has bounced back very well & giving a lot of confidence. Cant recollect a single GK at youth level who has had a good tournament in recent past.
