  1. Carlo Ancelotti left Neymar out of Brazil’s squad. He is trying to build a very strong Brazil side that can compete for the WC. He has preferred fit and strong players over skillful, flashy, and injury-prone ones. Many Brazilians are calling for Neymar’s return, but it seems the Italian has no intention of doing that.
Meanwhile, in Argentina, Scaloni continues to rely on players like Lo Celso, Exequiel Palacios, Licha Marinez, and Nico Gonzalez – all of whom are frequently injured.

  2. Ah Cristian Ansaldi, there is a name I haven’t heard in a while, he was quite good but sadly remained very underrated. The run in he had with the police during his Atletico stint really seemed to kill his momentum.

  3. Two very good left-backs, Simon Escobar and Santiago Silveira, are in the pipeline for Argentina. Both had an amazing game yesterday. Escobar reminds me of Cristian Ansaldi.
