  1. After many years see a very physically strong argentine U-17 team. Very strong in defense but missing creativity…
    Let’s hope for good tournament…
Missing Tomas Parmo and Juan Cruz Meza and Francisco barido

  2. The players on this Argentina u17 team look 20-year-olds in terms of their physique. The 2023 u17 players weren’t strong physically, but were very strong technically.
It’s 1-1 at halftime between Argentina and Belgium. Belgium had the majority of the possession in the opening 20 minutes, but Argentina dominated the the match after that and created a couple of good chances including the one led to the goal. Belgium on the other hand, had a single shot on target turned into a goal. This team looks good.

    • Result doesnt matter in the age category imo, just the process. Belgium, France, Brazil or african teams are still much more accelerated even if this ARG is more physically strong than earlier. Placente is a great coach, his selection was still interesting with a lot of missing creative talents upfront.

      • Agreed. But let’s hope this team will be different from the previous ones and win Argentina’s first ever u17 WC.
