Guido Rodríguez scored both goals for Valencia in a 3-2 loss to Celta de Vigo at Mestalla for Matchday 30 of La Liga.
The Argentine midfielder opened the scoring in the 12th minute. Rodríguez collected a rebound inside the box and finished with a right-footed shot.
Celta de Vigo turned the match around in the second half with three goals. Valencia trailed 3-1 before Rodríguez scored again in the 82nd minute, once more finishing with a powerful strike inside the area. It was the first brace of his professional career.
Lucas Beltrán came off the bench and added minutes for Valencia. Renzo Saravia and Franco Cervi were on the bench for Celta de Vigo.
With the result, Valencia sit 13th in the table with 35 points with eight matches remaining. Celta de Vigo are sixth with 44 points and are in a Conference League position.
