Lionel Messi has won the ESPYS Best Soccer/Football Player award!

Messi won his second ESPYS award of the night. After winning the Best Championship Performance award for his performance in the World Cup final, he was also named the best soccer/football player.

The other nominees were Aitana Bonmatí of Spain and Barcelona, Erling Haaland of Norway and Manchester City and Sophia Smith of the USWNT and the Portland Thorns.
