Julián Álvarez has requested from Pep Guardiola to go to the Olympics with Argentina.
Álvarez has reportedly requested to join the Argentina Olympic team. According to Gastón Edul, the Argentine spoke to Guardiola in private and asked Pep to go to the Olympics, arguing that he is not getting minutes at Manchester City.
If Álvarez were to go, he would be one of the three overage players in the team. Julián Álvarez is presently with the Argentina national team in Florida, training for the two friendly matches against Ecuador and Guatemala.
