River Plate, Racing Club, Vélez Sarsfield, and Estudiantes de La Plata are the four Argentine teams that advanced past the 2025 Copa Libertadores group stage and will compete in the Round of 16, which begins this Tuesday.
This Tuesday, Vélez Sarsfield will visit Brazil’s Fortaleza, a team featuring several Argentine players, including José Herrera, Gastón Ávila, Emanuel Brítez, Juan Martín Lucero, Eros Mancuso, and Emmanuel Martínez. Also today, Racing Club will face Uruguay’s Peñarol away in the first leg of their Round of 16 tie.
