Como have turned down a €70 million package from Tottenham Hotspur for Nico Paz.
The Serie A club received an offer for the Argentine from the Premier League club. According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham Hotspur bid €70 million for the 20 year old which was turned down.
Nico Paz wants to stay at Como with a view on a Real Madrid future. Madrid would have matched any proposal made.
Real Madrid have a €10 million buy back clause in 2026 for the player. Paz joined Como from Real Madrid last season.
He scored a free kick goal and had an assist for Como in their 2-0 win against Lazio.
Both he and Perrone are superb and I think both can (and probably will) be very important for Argentina’s midfield in the near future. I can see Perrone doing great sitting right behind Enzo and Alexis where he allows them both to bomb forward while protecting the backline. As for Paz, well what can I say the kid is (arguably) world class – he is to me atleast – and I can see him being a great sub for either Enzo or Mac, heck he might be able to displace them if Scaloni plays his cards right.
