Joaquín Panichelli spoke about his dream of wanting to play with the Argentina national team.
Panichelli has scored 10 goals in 11 matches since joining Strasbourg. The Argentine is the Ligue 1 top scorer, having scored a goal in their 3-0 win against Auxerre.
The 23 year old Argentine spoke in an interview with GeneraciónF before their match against Auxerre. With quotes from Ole, here is what he had to say:
“I’m having a good time right now. Playing for the national team is always a dream for any soccer player, especially for Argentines. It’s the best thing that can happen to you.
“Have I been in contact with the coach (Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni)? Not yet. You always hope that they’ll notice you, but I try not to think about it and just focus on my day-to-day work.”
