River Plate drew 1-1 away in Bolivia against Blooming. Lucas Martínez Quarta was red carded after six minutes, when he grabbed a player from behind and the player would fall onto the pitch.
With the score at 0-0, Fabricio Bustos crossed the ball inside the penalty area and Sebastián Driussi would score to give River Plate the 1-0 lead. Anthony Vasquez Arcila would score the goal to draw Blooming level.
Of the three Argentine clubs in the Copa Sudamericana, only Racing were able to get a win. The Argentine club were away to Independiente Petrolero in Bolivia and were able to get a 3-1 win.
Gonzalo Sosa received the ball and made a run inside the penalty area, scoring to give Racing the 1-0 lead. With Racing leading 1-0, Gastón Martirena would score Racing’s second goal of the match off a difficult angle.
Independiente would score a penalty to pull one back. With Racing leading 2-1, the goalkeeper came out but was unable to get to the ball and Adrian Fernandez would score Racing’s third goal of the match.
Tigre would get a 1-1 draw against Alianza Atlético in Peru. With the score at 0-0, an effort by David Romero was saved by the goalkeeper but Ignacio Russo would score the rebound to give Tigre the 1-0 lead.
At 1-1, the Argentine Valentin Robaldo would draw level for Atletico after a cross into the penalty area.

I witnessed Quarta committed foul and got sent off in the WCC match against Inter Milan. He is a ticking bomb, awaiting for red cards. Scaloni must not include him in the roster this summer.
