Lionel Messi scored for Inter Miami in their 1-1 draw vs. LA Galaxy.

Messi got his first goal of the 2024 season with Inter Miami in dramatic fashion. With LA Galaxy leading 1-0 in injury time, it was a partnership we had seen before.

Lautaro Martínez reached 101 goals with Inter, scoring twice in their 4-0 win vs. Lecce.

Martínez scored goal 100 and 101 for Inter in the same match. With the score at 0-0, it was a through ball to Lautaro and he would score while onto the pitch to give Inter the 1-0 lead.

The Argentine would score his second goal of the match, a low pass into the penalty area and he would score from close range to make it 3-0 for Inter. Lautaro now has three goals in his last two matches.

He has 22 goals and four assists in 23 league matches.

Alexis Mac Allister wins Carabao Cup with Liverpool

Alexis Mac Allister’s Liverpool defeated Mauricio Pochettino and Enzo Fernandez’s Chelsea 1-0 in extra time of the Carabao Cup final.

The former Brighton player won his first title with the Reds and reached his 6th career title.

Mac Allister played 86 minutes and received an 8.0 Sofascore rating, while Enzo Fernández played the whole 120 minutes and received a 7.5 Sofascore rating.

Luka Romero scored twice for Almeria, Rodrigo De Paul and Ángel Correa each scored for Atletico Madrid in their 2-2 draw.

Romero got his first two goals of the season and now has two goals in three matches for Almeria. With the score at 0-0, Ángel Correa scored from close range to give Atletico Madrid the 1-0 lead.

The 19 year old Romero, who started his first match of the season, scored from outside of the penalty area with his left foot beating Oblak to draw Almeria level. The second half would bring two goals.

Nahuel Molina would clear the ball and cross it to Rodrigo De Paul who would make a run towards Almeria;s penalty area and he would toe poke it to give Atletico the 2-1 advantage.

With Atletico leading 2-1, Romero would get the ball inside the penalty area and with the outside of his left foot, he would score to once more draw Almeria level.
