Matías Almeyda has been announced as the new coach of Sevilla.

Almeyda is the new coach of Sevilla, the club announced on Monday that he has signed a contract for three seasons. The Argentine previously played at the club in 1996-1997, for one season.

As coach, he has managed River Plate, Banifled, Guadalajara, San Jose Earthquakes and AEK Athens, winning nine trophies.
