Nicolás Tagliafico commented on the Argentina national team’s win against England at the World Cup.
Tagliafico spoke in an interview about his injury in the World Cup final and Lionel Messi playing at 39 years of age. In the same interview, Tagliafico commented on Argentina’s win against England at the World Cup. Speaking with ClankJPV, here is what he had to say:
“We didn’t just play to make it to the final. We were playing for the entire country. We had this feeling that we had to go out and eat them alive from the first minute.”
“We had this feeling that we had to go out and eat them alive from the first minute.” Why repeating the same mistake again and again. Why the hell you just don’t took that game as just another game. In Osho’s words, “the most normal and simple day is the most extra-ordinary day. Ordinary is the most extra-ordinary “. Why with these kind of words fueling hatredness to our future generation also. Why mix politics in a game. why get distracted in such a crucial and final moment. Seems Argentina was more drained emotionally and mentally that made them completely off physically also in the final. We were so so near. Amidst all the chaos and confusion, we were so so near. A little bit of presence of mind and calmness would have made a lot of difference. At least make the life easy for the future generation. Just advise them to treat every match against any team as just another match. Please be more responsible. Personally Tagliafico had a good world cup and final. But reality is we are just left empty handed. Please realize we lost the final after the England game and not after the Spain game because of our extreme distraction and draining. We inflicted the pain ourselves this time. Don’t pass this to the future generation.
But apart from this, Tagliafico is our real unsung warrior serving for a very long time. Thanks fico..
