Valencia’s Ezequiel GARAY is all set to join the Russian club.
Lots of Argentinians appear to be heading to Russia in this transfer window. In this particular case, it’s one who is going back to Russia however to a different team. Valencia and former Argentina international Ezequiel GARAY is set to join Sparktak Moscow in Russia. This would be GARAY’s second stint in Russia after he had previously played for Zenit St. Petersburg from 2014-2016.
The defender, who joined Spanish club Valencia last season, was reportedly close to joining reigning Serie A champions Juventus. According to Spanish media Superdeporte, the talks between the two teams are very advanced to the point where it’s very possible that GARAY would get presented tomorrow (on Friday) as a new Spartak Moscow player.
El negro (as he’s called) was not present for Valencia’s training session on Thursday morning and did not take part in their previous four pre-season matches due to muscular discomfort.
