The other Argentinian making way to the United States is Franco ESCOBAR. The 22 year old defender appears to have already signed with the club on a three year deal. The contract reportedly gives Atlanta the chance to extend for two years.

    • Yes i too think so, He is too good for a lesser competitive league. Don’t know what some players are thinking Paredes to Russia was a bad move, Pastore to PSG etc etc. May be we can sit and comment about the players but for them those money will probably settle their Family for a lifetime. Money is everything nowadays isn’t it.

  1. Barco going to MLS is a weird career move for one of the genuine up and coming stars. I guess his still only 18 so a couple of seasons in MLS may do him well before going to Europe. But I don’t see the MLS as a stronger league than the argentine league. I guess Independiente couldn’t say no to the money.
