Pablo PEREZ scores as Cristian PAVON and Boca Juniors win Superliga

Pablo PEREZ scored the first goal for Boca on their way to winning the Argentine Superliga.

A 2-2 draw against Gimnasia was all Boca needed to seal back to back league titles, with goals coming from Pablo PEREZ and Ramon ABILA. PEREZ scored early in the 12 minute with ABILA netting Boca’s second in the 57th minute.

Emmanuel MAS, Pablo PEREZ (rumored to make Argentina’s preliminary 35 man World Cup squad), Carlos TEVEZ and Cristian PAVON all started for the league champions. PAVON even had a beautiful nutmeg during the match.

In other Superliga action, Lisandro LOPEZ and Lautaro MARTINEZ both scored in Racing’s 2-0 victory against Arsenal de Sarandi.

Congratulations to Boca Juniors on winning the league title!

  1. I dont get why sampaoli is using salvio as right back. For me Only disadvantage of bustos is he is weak in defending compared to other top team RBs but if we are using salvio then why not bustos who plays in that position week in week out.

    • Bustos is our best RB currently. We hove not better one. It’s not that he is just weak defensively. He is just often too bravely in attack hence too late when opponent is on counter attack.
