Former Inter man Walter SAMUEL could join Lionel SCALONI’s Argentina team staff

There are reports that Walter SAMUEL could eventually join Lionel SCALONI’s Argentina coaching staff.

With the two friendly matches against Guatemala and Colombia coming up next month, there could be a change in staff following those matches. There are rumors that Pablo AIMAR’s stint with the senior team will be short lived, with AIMAR returning to work with the youth teams.

Should AIMAR leave the senior staff, a possible replacement is Walter SAMUEL.

  1. For a guy that is “just” the interim manager it’s very strange to be building a coaching staff…
This shit is Batista all over again…AFA continues to be a joke.

  2. Once a ROCK in our defence. Hope he can transfer his knowledge well to our defenders. Our defence needs meticulous organization.

  3. i think thats an excellent replacement. Samuel knows how to make a team defend well and aimar knows how to teach younger players to play with joy and put an eye on technical development. both traits are needed badly on senior level and youth level. i support the decision.
