Copa America 2019 draw to take place on Thursday, Argentina in Pot A

The draw for the 2019 Copa America will take place on Thursday with Argentina seeded in Pot A.

Lionel SCALONI’s team will be guaranteed to stay away from hosts Brazil and 15 time champions Uruguay, at least in the group stages. The two teams along with Argentina will be in Pot A, with Peru, Colombia and Chile in Pot B and Japan, Paraguay and Venezuela in the third pot. Ecuador, Bolivia and the hosts of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar will be in the last pot.

Javier ZANETTI will be at the ceremony, as well Zico, Ze ROBERTO, MARTA, Diego LUGANO, Francisco MATURANA and ROMERITO.

    WORST case scenario!
    Pot B: Chile
    Pot C: Venezuela
    Pot D: Ecuador

    We probably won’t win this Cup, but the Finals should at least be a realistic goal. But then again, if Messi comes back, anything is possible. Remember, he is owed a national trophy in Brazil *2014*
    Semi-Final, Quarter Final elimination would be a disaster.
    Even the best third place rule gives room for mistakes, so its very slim we won’t get out of the group, unless something goes VERY wrong.
    But hope for the best

  2. I guess Messi will consider this Copa his last chance to win silverware with the NT. Without a win he will retire because he won’t do the WC qualifiers again.
