  1. Ansaldi scored two nice goals and no news feed about him in Mundo but there is news feed talking about 37 year old Palacio who could not finish an easy goal chance in world cup.

  2. Solid performance of Otamendi against Arsenal. Even though Aguero was off, City controlled the game tactically. Always 2 guys on the player who has the ball, can kill the game without the absolute possession. I really like how City defend together and how they played collectively, especially when I saw the strikers like Sterling and Gabriel Jesus how they were exhausted after the match because they made so much effort defensively. It reminded me a bit of Sabella’s team when Higuain and Lavezzi worked hard to press the opponents, the whole team defending together. Great football!

    • Good to see 2 veteran players under Guardiola because even earning a spot under him seems difficult. City played really good professional football yesterday. Every time Arsenal had their break and when City players were on Arsenel’s half, they committed a foul- “professional foul” they call it- to break the momentum. Guardiola is an amazing coach in terms of converting players like Fernandinho and achieving their best. A lot to learn from coaches like Klopp, Guardiola, etc. Will Bielsa be among them next season? I don’t follow Leeds.

  3. What a game for Paredes! It’s been the 2nd one on the row he was one of the best on the pitch. Almost 0 mistake on his passing, good defending as well. His partnership with Marquinhos was really good. It’s strange I feel that he plays better when Verratti is off. Anyway the Italian only plays 5-6 months every year, Paredes should be very useful for the rest of this season. I like the way Tuchel played with Di Maria and Paredes, it’s a 4222 with 2 playmakers but unlike Neymar, Di Maria holds less the ball, always plays 1 touch and drops much deeper to help more Marquinhos and Paredes, who stay in the same zone together. Maybe that’s the best formation.
