Cristian Cuti Romero commented on the Argentina national team and Tottenham Hotspur.

Cuti Romero was voted as the Man of the Match for Tottenham Hotspur in their 2-2 draw vs. Chelsea. The Argentine continues to impress for both club and country.

Romero spoke in an interview with D Sports Radio about the Argentina national team and Tottenham Hotspur. Here is what he had to say:

“I think I found the right club (Tottenham Hotspur) to continue to develop after the Copa America and to get to the World Cup in the best way.

“I surely have many things to improve but I have two coaching staff. One in the national team and in Tottenham, they teach me a lot.”

In regards to the FIFA 2022 Qatar World Cup:

“I am very anxious and looking forward to being in Qatar.”

Regarding Lionel Messi:

“It’s very nice to share a team with Messi. Five years ago I was in Cordoba thinking about quitting football and now I share a squad with the best in the world.”

Who he watched as a kid:

“When I was young, I watched a lot of Puyol’s Barcelona and Piqué. Today, I watch a lot of Van Dijk.”

About Argentina’s World Cup qualifying match vs. Brazil:

“It’s good that the match vs. Brazil is not played, more than anything because of the yellow cards or suspensions.”
