Cristian Romero spoke about the World Cup final and Lionel Scaloni.

Romero commented about watching the World Cup final several times since winning the World Cup. Speaking in an interview with TyC Sports, here is what he had to say:

“I see the celebrations, the penalty kicks. The entire match, I have seen it 20 times. It’s crazy.

“What we lived in Qatar, those 40 days were the most beautiful.”

When asked about Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni and his renewal:

“He knows how the group feels about him. He is the one who created a big part of this. It’s a coaching staff that the players respect and love them very much. They work very well with him. I would like for him to continue but it’s his own decision. I think he deserves to continue, let’s hope so.

“My call up arrived at the best moment of my career. I had a great year at Atalanta. I am grateful that Scaloni gave me the opportunity. From the very first moment, the group always made me feel incredible.”

Regarding their Whatsapp group:

“World champions, Lea (Paredes) put it the next day.”

In regards to the match against the Netherlands at the World Cup:

“The only thing we did was win at any cost.”
