Thiago Almada scored two goals in injury time for Atlanta United in their 2-1 win vs. San Jose.

Almada has had a great start to the season for Atlanta United. After winning the World Cup with the Argentina national team, Almada scored twice in injury time for Atlanta United to win them the match.

The 21 year old drew Atlanta United level in the 93rd minute with a strike from outside of the penalty area. But he was not done just yet.

With the score at 1-1, Atlanta United were awarded a free kick and up stepped Almada. The Argentine would score in the 99th minute to give Atlanta United the win.

  2. Chelsea are playing Enzo very deep as a pure CDM, totally wasting his goal scoring and assisting abilities. They signed him because their current mids aren’t working out for them and yet they are playing him so far away from goal! Enzo’s positioning and decision making gets him near the attack but again the mediocrity of Chelsea’s midfield yields nothing. Enzo needs to play higher up where he can get into the opposition box often!!!
