Lionel Messi scored and reached 700 club goals in PSG’s 3-0 win vs. Olympique Marseille.

Messi was instrumental in PSG’s win. The 35 year old had one goal and two assists, both to Kylian Mbappe, as PSG extended their league at the top of the table.

The Argentine had an assist on the first goal, a through ball in to Mbappe who scored. With PSG leading 1-0, it was Mbappe’s turn to give the assist.

A low pass into the penalty area found the Argentine who scored from close range to double PSG’s lead. But Messi had one more assist.

With PSG leading 2-0 in the second half, Messi would chip the ball over the Olympique Marseille back line and Mbappe would score with a strike similar to the one in the World Cup final.

The World Cup winner continues to score. He now has 12 goals and 12 assists in 20 Ligue 1 matches with PSG.

  1. Messi, Emi, Scaloni set to win the prestigious FIFA award tonight as Real Madrid will not send anyone to tonight award but Emilio Butragueno. It seems like the moaners madrid got offended that none of their players will win the award. Lol. Eat shit Madrid. Eat shit!

  2. He could have easily score a hattrik today had his finishing been a tad better. Nevertheless, his two assist were very good. Especially the second one where he put a juicy ball on a platter for Mbappe’s volley!! With Neymar gone, Messi unselfishly willing to be the creative engine and with Mbappe’s pace their chemistry might just be a littile too much for Bayern in the second leg.
