  1. Wow palacios becoming another good Midfielder for us
He has been good since alonso took over as Leverkusen manager, I really impressed palacios how he developed his game.

  2. I do not agree with your comment about Montiel. First of all, he is one of the most trustworthy penalty takers, he can easily be the best penalty taker in this Argentina team. Moreover, his defending is solid, remember how he fought in the Copa America final, I will never forget his bloody ankle.
Finally, not to mention he was the creator of Messi second goal in the final.
If he is given more chance in Seville, I bet he will be our best right back instead of Molina who is very poor in defending.

    • Molina is not that bad at defending, and he’s constantly improving in that regard playing much deeper that he had played in Udinese under the most defensive Argentina coaches around. Regardless, his strengths in attack likely outweigh any perceived defensive weaknesses.

  3. I always believed and still convinced that Argentina would be better off without Pezzella, Montiel and Tagliafico. Now it’s celebration time, It’s understandable that all the players who contribute or were there in Qatar to enjoy the NT and the Argentinean people. With lots of young players coming I think its time to say good bye to players like Ota, Papu, Tag, Montiel, Pezzella, Armani and Acuna. They have been very good for us and I will be forever grateful but the time has come to turn the page in order to not be in the 2018 situation.

    • Dude, Montiel is still 26 years old, plus apart from Molina we don’t have other proper right-backs and don’t get me started about Foyth playing in that position.

      • Molina, Montiel, Foyth (Maffeo) will solve RB position till next WC, but say goodbye to both Acuna and Tagliafico now? Then who will play there? Makes no sense.

        • Guys, it seems that you are watching the game with your eyes closed. Montiel does not have the level of that NT. We can play with 3 at the back. with the evolution of Garnacho, Alvarez and Lautaro I think the best position of Nico is the left winger. We have to play with our strength not our weakness. Not because someone scores a penalty that he has to be in the NT. Mac Allister, Nico, Dybala, Alvarez are good penalty takers and none of them took a penalty for us at the WC.
