Lionel Messi made South American history and broke a world record as he added two more records, reaching 102 goals with the Argentina national team.

Messi started Argentina’s match vs. Curaçao on 99 goals with the Argentina national team and would go on to score three goals in the win. His first goal would make him the first South American player to score 100 goals for his country.

The best player in the world would go on to score two more, reaching 102 goals. He also became the first World Cup winner to score 100 goals for their country.
