Claudio Echeverri scored a great individual goal for the Argentina U17 team at the Sudamericano.
The Argentina U17 team started off the hexagonal matches at the U17 Sudamericano with a 2-0 win vs. Chile. Diego Placente’s team took a 1-0 lead through an own goal.
Ruberto would play a pass into the penalty area and the Chilean Victor Manuel Campos Mella would score the own goal against his team. Placente’s team would score a great individual goal courtesy of one of the players of the tournament.
Echeverri would get the bell inside the penalty area, dribble around the goalkeeper and score the open goal. The 17 year old has now score four goals at the Sudamericano, tied with Kauã Elias of Brazil.
Argentina will play Venezuela on Friday.
Why no match against brazil u17
The last match will be against Brazil u17
I have high hopes for Claudio Echeverri. Also its good to see players like Ruberto, Subiabre, Lopez and especially the LB- Cabellos coming thru the ranks.
This type of player is a quintessential, archetypal, diminutive attacking playmaker that Argentina likes to produce and Echeverri seems to a super promising representation of that type.
A good pass and finished
Thats a great goal but can hardly be called an “individual goal”. He received a good pass very close to the goal.
