Carlos Alcaraz had a goal and an assist for Southampton in their 3-3 draw vs. Arsenal.
Alcaraz scored his third league goal of the season after only 26 seconds into the match. Ramsdale would play a pass as Southampton were pressuring and the Argentine would steal the ball and score.
The 20 year old wasn’t done. He would play a pass in to Theo Walcott and get the assist as he would score the second goal of the match. Alcaraz would be substituted out at half time as he was on a yellow card.
Any reason prestianni not selected for U20 WC. It seems paz and garnacho not coming they why don’t select him.

El Principe, I saw your clips about Federico Redondo at twitter It seems good prospects if he is half good of his old man than he will be some player and I agree with you he should be under 20 world Cup squad properly starting 11.
In Argentina league there are 2 young players lately that have been in everyone’s lips:
1. Valentin Barco
2. Fede Redondo
Both are special. I’d be upset if Redondo doesn’t make the starting 11. Like his father the guy has tremendous passing accuracy (the highest among all U23 players in liga Argentina) and the fewest turnover (losing the ball). Like his father too.
I agree if he can be half as good as El Principe Redondo, I’d be the happiest man. He is a bit of late bloomer for a youth. 1- 2 years ago he was nothing special.
Redondo for me the greatest 5 Futbol ever produced. Some might win the WC (Deschamps, Xavi). Some might win more UCL, but no one was as influential as him.
Well, speaking of Redondo and UCL, el principe is the only defensive player to ever win MVP at CL, so that’s all needs to be said about the man. Also it’s not an exaggeration to say that if El principito is LITERALLY half the player his old man was then he’d end up being a decent footballer.
And on the subject of talented Pibes, I watched the latest Velez game and I have to say that Prestianni is something, I really hope this is a sign of things to come and the kid won’t peak too early and burn out and fade into the annals of history likes so many of the “next maradonas” and soon to be “next messis”.
Speaking of Velez. #Velez is helping #Argentina future tremendously. They start these players:
1️⃣Gianluca #Prestianni RW, 17
2️⃣Thiago Fernandez LW, 19
3️⃣Valentin #Gomez CB, 19
4️⃣Cristian #Ordonez DM, 18
5️⃣Elias #Cabrera MC, 20
6️⃣Matias Seoane DM, 19
ALL starters❕
➕Julian Fernandez 19 RW as a sub
+ Santiago Castro 19 FC as a sub
It’s always been the case with Velez, they’ve always had a very proud trandition when it comes to their youth development even if their youth graduates haven’t lit up europe or the NT in recent times.
Speaking of Velez products, Nico Dominguez had a great game today even if Bologna lost.
I don’t know why CARLOS ALCARAZ is not talked about. After Qatar world cup I was watching some videos of him, to me he is a good goal scoring midfielder. Southampton would be relegated for sure. But this season I started watching Southampton just because of him. I think scaloni should select him. Because if he’s selected for our national football team, some other European clubs may go for him. I think he’s a great prospect. He can easily replace one of GUIDO RODRIGUES, LEANDRO PAREDES or GIOVANNI LO CELSO. He has taken a big risk by choosing Southampton a relegated team.
May be we should start doing Goal of the week by an Argentine player for all the leagues around the world! This week would be Dybala without any competition!
I feel like Paulo “bangers only” Dybala would top the list often
